The South Florida Marlins, a new Elite travel program for 2012 will be conducting tryouts on Sunday Jan 15th, 2012 for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 HS Graduates for the summer season. Check in starts 930am followed by a 2 hour workout from 10am-12pm. Tryouts are for 16 and 17u Prospect Teams. We are looking for dedicated, hard working, committed baseball players. The tryouts will be held at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School in Spring Hill (25 minutes north of Tampa). All players interested must fill out a S Florida Marlins player prospect form on our team website http://www.sfloridamarlins.com. The tryouts will be run by new Bishop McLaughlin Head Baseball Coach Tom Losauro. Coach Losauro will be the GM and coach the 17u team next summer. This past HS season, Coach Losauro coached 1st Rd MLB draft pick Hudson Boyd (Minnesota Twins) and 2nd Rd MLB draft pick Dan Vogelbach (Chicago Cubs).
